This year instead of an end of year banquet, we will have instead an end of year celebration. As always, this will be a time for us to celebrate the past year together by giving awards and joining in fellowship.
Awards will be given for the top ten individuals who received the most points in competition as well as the overall winner who will receive the President’s award. We will also recognize individuals who have become fellows, bronze fellows, silver fellows, and gold fellows as well as our new Masters in the Huntsville Photographic Society. We will express appreciation to our board members for their service during the year and announce the competition topics for 2023. This year we will have a special presentation for a new Honorary Life Member of HPS. It should be a grand evening, but we will need your help to pull it off.
Here is the general information:
- Where – Trinity United Methodist Church, 607 Airport Rd., Huntsville, Wesley Hall.
- When – Tuesday, December 13, beginning at 6 pm.
- Who – Club members and their spouses or dates–judges for the year will be invited.
- What to bring – Members with last names A-M, bring hor d’ourves, N-Z bring dessert.
Please be there at least by 6 pm with your dessert or hor d’ourve, as we will begin with a fellowship time right at 6 pm. The program will start sometime between 6:30 and 7:00 after everyone has settled in.
